Re-Development of Poltair Park
May 15 2008, 6:36 PM EDT Is there any truth in the rumours that the ground will soon be redeveloped? New stand, changing facilities and a pool club apparently? I have a friend who claims to know the developers and he claims that as well as running their own pool club, they will be bank rolling a decent side when the doors open? They have money to one side to pay for the levelling of the pitch and the installation of floodights as well, is this true? This will help the club get back on its feet but what are the thoughts of the members? Is this a load of shitty rumours? I hope not as if my sources are correct, it could be exciting times for town. Do you find this valuable? |

May 19 2008, 2:31 PM EDT It's good to hear that there are others out there with an interest in the club - it's been pretty quiet about the first team on here lately! I'd also be interested to know if any committee members use this site. I appreciate all the work they've done behind the scenes to keep the club afloat, but , (and this is no criticism)there are fans out here who wouldn't mind regular updates. Keeping in touch through this site would also let us know if any help is needed with anything. Fan loyalty is a useful resource! Do you find this valuable? |
